Before we design anything, we want to understand your business problem. Our consulting practice helps you invest in the right learning, measure it properly, and improve continuously.

We identify the performance gap before prescribing the solution — through stakeholder interviews, observation, data analysis and capability mapping. A TNA from Byline gives you a defensible business case for learning investment, not a shopping list of courses.

We apply Kirkpatrick's four levels across all four, including L4 business results wherever clients have the data infrastructure. We help build measurement plans before programmes launch so data is captured intentionally, not retrofitted.

A diagnostic and design model for understanding how learning affects an employee's sense of belonging, connection and psychological safety — and then designing to strengthen it.

EBQ shifts the question from "did they learn it?" to "do they feel they belong here, and can they perform here?" It's particularly effective in onboarding, DEI programmes and culture change initiatives.

We start by understanding the business problem, not the brief. Stakeholder interviews, observation where possible, review of existing data and materials. The output is a shared definition of the change you're trying to make — and agreement on how you'll know you've made it.

Learning design

Instructional architects map the learning journey — objectives, structure, modality, and assessment strategy. We apply our frameworks where they fit, and design custom approaches where they don't. The design is reviewed and approved before any production begins.

Prototype & review

We build a functional prototype — a representative slice of the programme — before full production. This saves expensive rework and ensures stakeholders react to the real thing, not a description of it. Feedback is consolidated and incorporated before we proceed.
